February Idea of the Month

This month, we talk about the habit of "thinking less than" of ourselves. We are pretty good at it. Is it because that's what we are used to? Is it because it is the norm of our culture? It is because we've done it all our lives?

Would "thinking greater" of ourselves be such a stretch? Could we give it a try and see what happens? Can we connect with our inner knowing, with our higher self, with God which would lead to thinking greater about ourselves?

This is not an ego thing or a self-centered thing. In fact, it is the opposite. When you connect with the Infinite Greatness of God, you become humble and come to an understanding that "it is the Father within that doeth the work." All goodness, all greatness comes from God.

One great realization that I have is that as you said, "It is not I but the Christ within that does the work." I also believe that we are co-creators in this universe. Thanks for the great post. I wrote a recent post called, "Fear Not" and would love your feedback. Namaste, Sherry

"Fear Not" is a great post Sherry. You use "you are safe" and I have been using "I am blessed." I remember using that on the train home from work when this violent storm was raging. As I walked to my car from the train station, the power was out, the streets were flooded, there were toppled trees and branches all over and powerlines down. But when I got to my car, which had been parked on the street all day, it was completely undamaged! With tree branches all around it, it was completely untouched. I was blessed then and am blessed now! Namaste
