This month, the Idea of the Month featured at the website (http://www.consciouskernels.com/) and the Feature Article in June's issue of the free monthly Conscious Kernels newsletter are both on the topic of timing.
Who's timetable are you living by? The limited, unknowing timetable of a human being (you!) or the all-knowing, all-good, all-harmonious timetable of Spirit?
Spirit knows no time really, but the experience of Spirit by us is through the convention of time. Do you always want stuff NOW!? Do you always want things done on your schedule?
And when you don't see it done on your schedule, what is your reaction? Do you get mad, frustrated, angry, depressed, resigned, sad, giving up? These are destructive and debilitating emotions and feelings. These will not help you in the long run to get in-synch with Spirit.
And that is what we all need to be doing -- geting in-synch with Spirit. Working with Spirit and not against It. Going with the flow of a loving and giving Universe.
Easier said than done, I know. I always have a whole list of things I want to get done by a certain time. Most of the time, that doesn't happen. Then I go through a range of the emotions listed above.
I decided that I would take a different approach in June. And this very morning, just the second day into this new month, Spirit gave me a test. I had my day pretty much planned out. But 15 minutes after I got up, my cat, Thelma, started experiencing a health issue. 15 minutes after that, I was on my way to the Vet with her.
She seems to be better now, thanks for asking.
But there went my plans for the morning. I said to the Universe, "this is not exactly what I had in mind when I said I would allow things to happen on your timetable, but OK, let's just go with it." But here was the test: Was I really committed to going with the flow or would I get all bent out of shape? I decided I would honor my commitment to allowing Spirit and do what I needed to do to help my friend.
About an hour and a half later, we were both home again. I kept an eye on her for awhile, then proceeded with my work and plans. As the day goes by, I'm going to monitor exactly what I don't get done because of the Thelma incident.
I bet it is not going to matter. I bet this morning's change-o-plans has no bearing on my efficiency today. We shall see. Maybe it will actually help me get more done. It certainly got me dressed and out of the house in a hurry!
Besides, what's an extra hour or two between friends?
Share your commments. I welcome your input.
Until next time, Namaste.

May Idea of the Month and Feature Article
Both the May Idea of the Month and the May Feature Article in the free monthly Conscious Kernels eNewsletter are about Divine Wisdom.
Are you letting Divine Wisdom guide your life? Do you block Divine Wisdom from helping you? Does your intuition tell you something and your intellect tell you not to listen to it!?
That happens alot. We second-guess ourselves. We ignore hunches, feelings, split-second ideas that flash into our minds.
We are always connected to Divine Wisdom. It is within us -- that is how connected we are to it!
Can you trust an idea that seems impossible to the intellect? Can you go with something that may seem unusual? Would you consider yourself "silly" for following a feeling?
You must remember that Divine Wisdom is WISE! It is not going to steer you wrong.
Share your ideas on Wisdom and intuition. Any great examples of following your intuition? Or what happened when you did not?
Until next time, Namaste

April Idea of the Month/Feature Article
This month I bring up the subject of "walking the walk" and what that means to you.
We all know it is easier to talk the talk than to walk the walk because there is much less effort involved. We can always say what we should be thinking or what someone else should do, but when it comes to acting in a certain way or really thinking and believing in a certain way, then it takes more effort.
It is something you have to be vigilant about. Catch yourself when you are not walking the walk and get back on course. That is what the Bible phrase " praying without ceasing" really means. To be thinking and believing and acting in the highest spiritual consciousness you can at your current level of understanding and awareness.
We also discussed in the April issue of the Conscious Kernels free monthly eNewsletter, the idea of when a challenge comes back into your experience.
Let's say you had a challenge and through treatment work or prayer or whatever you want to call it, the challenge was resolved. Then, weeks, months or even years later, that challenge returns. What does that mean? What do you do now?
A challenge is in your life for a reason. Perhaps you never figured out what that was when you had it the first time, but through sheer will power or maybe treatment from a Practitioner, the challenge left your experience. But you did not change, not at the deep subconscious level, so the challenge had to return. That is the Law.
Don't beat yourself up about it. The challenge gives you the opportunity to examine your beliefs and your thinking. And to know greater for yourself. What a wonderful gift!
Share your thoughts. Can you see a challenge as a gift?

March Idea of the Month and Feature Article -- Transitions
For the March issue of the Conscious Kernels eNewsletter, the feature article discussed the issue of transitions. All kinds of transitions, but mostly about the transition commonly known as death. For the last few months, my experiences have included a number of transitions of family, and family of friends and acquaintences.
When Life hands you a bunch of similar experiences in a short period of time, that is a clue to look at what is going on with you. What does Life want to teach me now? What does Life want to teach me about transitions?
And then my beloved Louise made her transition. I knew it was coming. The inevitable had just been postponed for a few brief months. But I had nearly 16 years with this crazy, loving, frustrating, laugh-producing, cuddly creature. She was such a sweet girl. The only living thing that wanted to be with me 24-7. Sometimes she wanted my undivided attention. Sometimes she just wanted to be close by while she slept.
When I came home from the vet after her transition, the house seemed cavernously empty. For such a small thing, her presence was huge.
Thelma and I will carry on without her. That is part of dealing with loss. I think we will mourn her in our own ways.
Thelma and Louise were littermates. Together from before they were even born. Inseparable, even though they hissed at each other every now and then. Toward the end, they shared a pillow and slept the afternoon away. Something they had not really done since they were kittens. I think they both knew something was up.
I will be in the habit of looking down at the floor every time I turn around, because Louise was always underfoot, especially near the end. On her last day, I put on some soft music and held her in a blanket in my arms. I just wanted to keep her comfortable and close, the way she liked to be. And I wanted our last hours together to be peaceful and loving.

Website issues
For the months of November, December and January, you may have notices some issues with the website: www.consciouskernels.com. Some of you may have even been prevented from getting to the website by your virus protection program.
As it turns out, my webhosting company was hacked into some time in late November and was infected with malware. That malware became attached to a good many of the sites they host -- including ours. Although they said they had fixed the problem, they did not. Another problem, related to this malware or not, cropped up where I could not update any of the webpages. After trying to restore, then not restore the site as a whole, I asked to be moved to a new server. This seems to have fixed the malware issue.
But then Google had a problem recently where all their search results gave searchers a warning that the website they were going to had malware. I believe this is unrelated to my webhost's problem and Google has since corrected theirs.
So all should be well again. Please let me know if you receive any warnings when trying to visit the site.

A Happier You
In our February issue of the Conscious Kernels eNewsletter, we featured an excerpt from Eckhart Tolle about being a happier you. He had 10 pointers. What did you think of them?
He equates alot of unhappiness is caused by not being in the present moment. By comparing the past with now or the future with now instead of just living in the now.
In Spirit, there is only the now. So if you live in Spirit, then you are living in the Now, and if you are living in the Now, you can experience a Happier You -- according to Tolle.
Share you thoughts.

New Year's Intentions
The Power of Intentions is different from regular old New Year's resolutions.
As we discussed in the January 2009 issue of the Conscious Kernels eNewsletter, intentions set the Law in motion. Then we let the Law do its perfect work. We work on our intentions, our focus, our attitudes, our attentions. We give the Law clear directives, clear desires and then we are set.
We let go and let God at this point.
What are some of your intentions for the New Year? Have you taken time to get clear on your desires?
Post your experiences here.
Happy New Year to all.
